Does anyone know what the ultimate settlement was?

  Probably an NDA. But I do know that the one guy took a settlement and then came back for more and got slapped with a countersuit.

  It seems early in the play that there was some incidents of disturbing aquafirs. Maybe because the companies didn't really didn't understand their geological makeup.

actually, there were water quality issues because cabot cut corners in their haste to produce gas.

those problems were then compounded by Cabot's attitude. other companies fixed their problems while providing alternatives to well water. cabot had to be sued to do the right thing.

  That's my point a lot of companies had problems early in the play. Including a few by your fav.
