According to Bill Nojay, Silver is in a tough spot at this point.  One of the ways he can reduce his sentence is to rat out several other Democrats, Cuomo being one.  Thing is, it's unknown whether or not Silver actually has the goods on Cuomo.  But absent some mitigating factor(s), Silver is likely to spend the rest of his life incarcerated, an outcome he richly deserves in my view.

Let's face facts, they're all downstate NY Democrats so they're all crooks.  Even the downstate NY Republicans are not exactly choir boys.
