West Virginia Supreme Court Cases
« on: May 31, 2017, 04:36:02 PM »
They just ruled on their rehearing of Leggett v ECA, with a decision that will anger royalty owners: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/leggett-v-eqt-round-2-matthew-miller-mba-cpl

They are deciding on a case that is interesting but really should be an easy call to reject the nonsensical claim of the NPRI owners:

I have worked around most of Western PA and WV, as well as on projects in several other places as a Landman for over a decade.

The WV Supreme Court might have actually filed their decision before I even posted this yesterday, but they have ruled on the NPRI case... as expected, they rejected the notion that NPRI owners in WV have any say in pooling.
