WEC invests $230 million in natural gas storage site
« on: October 21, 2017, 07:32:25 PM »

Let’s think about this deal. One gas company sells an underground gas storage area to another gas company for $230M. Yet the Federal Government, FERC, state governments, and courts conspired with gas and pipeline companies to illegally take over private property for underground natural gas storage in the first place. The government, courts and pipeline companies illegally run roughshod over private landowners, take their private property and provide little or no compensation to the landowner. Yet after the government and courts give the underground caverns to the gas companies suddenly the caverns mysteriously take on $Millions$ of dollars in value. On top of that the gas companies make $Millions$ of dollars annually from the free use of private property.

There is something wrong with this picture. The federal and state governments and courts are illegally taking over private property for corporate gain and giving the landowner nothing, a huge violation of the 5th amendment. This must be corrected. Gas and pipeline companies must be forced to provide retroactive compensation to landowners from the date landowners were forced to illegally give their property to gas and pipeline companies.
