Commonwealth seeks injunction in Chesapeake and Anadarko case
« on: February 14, 2018, 10:18:40 AM »
Lift from article:

"The Attorney General’s office added, “Unless the court issues an injunction, the commonwealth is concerned that Pennsylvania landowners will not be able to recover money lost as a result of the violations by the Chesapeake defendants and the Anadarko defendants.”

It was also stated that the commonwealth is concerned that the defendants are acting in anticipation of civil liability, as Chesapeake laid-off 13 percent of its staff at its Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, headquarters.

“It is more than reasonable for the commonwealth to be further concerned about dissipation of funds in anticipation of civil liability,” states court documents.

Why an injunction on them. In case they go into bankruptcy?

It could be like when Donald was going through his first divorce and was claiming he was flat broke. Sorry.

Not exactly. The Clintons paid. The Donald and Chesapeake  are famous for not paying.

6.1 million per month from CHK and Andarko into escrow in case they pull a Trump and go into Bankruptcy.
