Life sustaining or not, drilling goes on in Susque, never mind the idea of stopping digging.  Setting up to drill two more wells on an existing pad off Tingley Lake Road.  The entire, or nearly the entire, of the drilling operation passed my house this morning headed from dunno where to there.  Had a grader parked out front to help some of the heavies get up the hill.  He had to drag at least 7 up, and I don't know how many while I was out.  Followed a heavy over to see what's what.  The rig is standing up, but the drill is not yet turning as of noon today.  (Gennies are on site but not yet set up and running.)

Almost fun watching the big ones passing in opposite directions.  Somebody is directing traffic, somehow, 'cause there are some narrow spots on the road where even two cars have to be extra careful to keep out of the drainage gullies.

Despite the low price environment, it's still exciting to see the rig move into a unit you are in.

And dissapointing to see the rig leave

The rig left our unit yesterday after 38 days, they were supposed to drill 3 very long laterals, I don't think they had enough time to that.

chk has a very ambitious drilling schedule for this year. 4th rig arrives in may and has a buncha wells to punch.

can't say I'm real excited to see the checks, but I ain't gettin' no younger neither. might as well get some before I die.

chk is hedged well for 2020, but that ain't gonna help us.

I guess Chesapeake is getting prepared to supply the New Fortress LNG plant.
Not sure how many mcfs/d will be needed. I do think they have agreed to pay CHK $2.50.
